“Maksud & Associates” a promising corporate law firm organized a Seminar on “Land Documents and Documentation” on Saturday, 23rd July 2016 at Tropicana Tower, 45 Topkhana Road, Purana Paltan, Dhaka.
The seminar was presided over by the Head of Chamber Mr. Seik Golam Maksud, Advocate, Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Retired District & Session Judge Mr. Md. Azizul Islam was present there as Chief Guest. The program was also attended among others, by District Registrar and author of various Books Mr. S M Sayeedur Rahman, District Registrar Mr. Dipok Kumar Sarker along with participants from different Banks and Financial Institutions. Speakers at the program underscored easiness of the ways to overcome various problems related with the land documents and documentation. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Md. Azizul Islam said emphasized on how to mitigate the prevalent complexities related with the process of land litigation. He described various issues related with the delaying to dissolve the land disputes in the court and how to overcome of those problems. District Registrar and author of various books Mr. S M Saidur Rahman focuses on the process of land registration in the country. District Registrar Mr. Dipok Kumar Sarker focused on the recent amendment of the Power of Attorney Act 2012. The participants also asked frequent questions to the Head of Chamber & other guests.
